they want $5 to park your car, $15 for a ramp fee even if your just dropping off passengers, a form full of useless information, and the people are extremely combative. They had so many bad reviews on AirNav they asked AirNav to stop collecting and displaying reviews. They try to park all prop planes on the side of their pad that has tons of divots and sunk storm grates I guess to see if you can get a prop strike. The building looks like it should be condemned. The staff is combative and rude. The manager is just as bad. I emailed her about my complaint and she apologized but then reaffirmed her position for all my complaints. As a GA pilot, I would stay away from this airport, or at least this FBO at all costs.
This is our go-to FBO in the Orlando area. I have never been charged a fee for anything. No landing fee, no ramp fee, no overnight fee - NADA! The gas is cheap (sometimes several dollars a gallon cheaper than other FBOs). The staff knows us by name when we walk in. The line crew displays true concern when handling the airplane. Jeannie the manager is always very pleasant. The rental car paperwork is always already filled out for us when we arrive. My wife looks forward to visiting this FBO as much as she looks forward to the vacation itself!
I used this FBO because of lower fuel prices. I was somewhat concerned because of reading bad reviews. We arrived on a Friday and departed on Tuesday. We were not charged a ramp fee or parking. I called them 2 hours before leaving to have plane topped off and when I arrived our plane was topped as requested and they towed the plane to the front door and lineman helped us load our baggage. I would use them again
While the fuel prices and customer service are both very good, I can't recommend Kissimmee Jet due to a rather bizarre policy regarding crew cars. After staying for a week and buying almost 40 gal of fuel, I was dropped off at 7:40PM after a 9 hour flight from Europe, but was not allowed to use the crew car because it was after 7PM (yet they are open till 9:30PM). The CSR was very apologetic, but couldn't provide a reason for this policy or make an exception.
Cheaper fuel prices made us decide to go to KJC. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for gas. This place sucks! Refused to give us a crew car because we were not local pilots. We purchased 200 gals of fuel and were starving. We got to fly hungry instead of being accomidated. After witnessing her customer service skills, the old lady at the front desk must have worked for the government(maybe a prison). It will be a cold day in Hades before any aircraft I manage or own ever visits this facility again.
